'Today' Fans Show Support for Al Roker and Deborah Roberts Following an Emotional Instagram – GoodHousekeeping.com

Al and Deborah have so much love for their son.
Al Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, can’t believe their son, Nick, is all grown up.
Most recently, the Today show weatherman and the ABC News correspondent celebrated their youngest child getting accepted into college. Off-camera though, Deborah appears to be feeling nostalgic after celebrating this exciting milestone. While going down memory lane, the broadcast journalist shared a rare photo of Nick that she holds close to her heart.
On January 6, Deborah posted a throwback picture of herself and Nick on Instagram, followed by a more up-to-date picture of them together (you can see the post here). “How does this happen?” she wrote in the caption. “One day I’m looking down at him…and next I’m looking up. What a journey.”
After seeing the two side-by-side heartwarming photos, Deborah’s fans, who are also parents, instantly related to how she’s feeling. Many showed their support with heart emojis and kind messages in the comments section.
“I remember that same feeling. Goes by in a flash, doesn’t it? Nick is such a great young man! ❤️,” one person wrote. “Don’t get me wiping my eyes Deb. Life is amazing and moves too fast – enjoy your incredible Nick every day. He is such a blessing 😘😘,” another added. “The best journey in the world!” a follower commented.

Although Nick hasn’t revealed which school he’ll be attending in the fall — he got into two different schools — it’s clear Deborah is soaking up every moment she has with him until then. And we bet Al is doing the same.
As fans may know, after Deborah and Al tied the knot in September 1995, the coupled welcomed their daughter Leila Ruth in 1998. A handful of years later, Nick joined the family in July 2002. Their crew is complete with Al’s daughter Courtney from his first marriage.
